Tony moved from the Lake District in September 2011 to start working for YoYo.
Tony is YoYo's Executive Officer heading up operations, inspiring the team to continue driving forward with the vision of YoYo, working with Trustees on strategic development and representing YoYo to churches and community groups. He has considerable experience in working in both primary and secondary schools as a part of his previous work with NISCU (Northern Inter-schools Christian Union). He is looking forward to supporting the team in their work and is excited about the opportunities ahead.
Tony is married to Claire, who is a primary school teacher, and they have a son called Joseph.

Louise has been working for YoYo since March 2013. She loves having the opportunity to work in primary and secondary schools, presenting the Christian faith in a lively and enthusiastic manner, and learning from the children and young people that she meets. Louise also enjoys working alongside volunteers from different churches in York.
Before joining the YoYo team, Louise spent two years in Bolivia, South America working for a project that works with street teenagers called Operation Restoration. She also completed a degree in Theology from St Andrews University, Scotland.

Dave joined the YoYo team in September 2016 and is working with Louise in schools South and East of York. He graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Mechatronic Engineering, and has since worked as a Youth and Schools Work Missionary and a full-time secondary Maths teacher in East Lancashire.
Dave has always had a passion for working with young people and seeing them reach their full potential and is looking forward to seeing how students grow with God this year.

Jen is also part of the South and East team, but is currently on maternity leave.
Andy works alongside Izzi as a schools work coordinator for York west and central. He has been working for YoYo since November 2011, having finished his Geography degree at Newcastle University.
Having grown up in York, Andy understands what it is like to be a young person living in the city and has a passion for working in schools across York, getting to know pupils and help them think through big topics and questions.
He also loves music and outside of YoYo drums in a band called This Resistance. The band travel all over, using their music to explore ideas of faith.

Izzi joined the YoYo team in September 2015, working part-time in the West and Central area of the city with Andy. Alongside this role she works at Manor CE Academy as a Lay Chaplain.
Izzi grew up on the North Coast of Northern Ireland and moved to England for a gap year in London. Following this year working with London City Mission she completed a degree in York. She loves getting alongside the young people in the city, whether in clubs, lessons or assemblies, and the opportunity to work closely with local churches.

Carol is the administrator at YoYo. She is in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays and has particular responsibility for DBS checks and other volunteer administration. She also administers the York Godly Play network group.
Carol has lived in York since she was married. She lives in Wigginton with her husband and 12 year old son. Having completed her teacher training degree in Cambridge she spent 12 years as a primary school teacher in Dagenham and then Leeds before becoming a mother and is happy to be able to serve God as she supports the dedicated team of schools and youth workers.
