Andy joined the YoYo secondary schools team in November 2011, having completed a degree in Geography at Newcastle University. He has however, been very involved with YoYo for a number of years having done a gap year with the charity in 2007-2008 and regularly volunteered since.

Andy will be working alongside Malc in a job share as Key Stage 3 and Music Ministry Coordinators for the charity. He is looking forward to getting stuck in with teaching and running lots of Rock Solid clubs, but also helping pioneer YoYo’s new music ministry.

Andy is passionate about music, and drums in the band ‘This Resistance’. The band hopes to use their music to reach many young people in York with the gospel. Andy also hopes to help YoYo develop their drama and media resources.
