Andy started working for YoYo in October 2009 on a gap year programme. He is very excited about the year and is looking forward to being challenged, spending an entire year working for God and stepping out of his comfort zone. He has lived in York all his life, and attended York College, where he completed A Levels in Early Modern History, Religious Studies and English Literature & Language. He works with the team on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and works at Sainsbury’s as well.
Whilst working at YoYo, Andy will be helping both the primary and secondary teams with various activities, such as Open The Book assemblies and Rock Solid clubs. He loves working with children and teenagers and has done lots of work with other organisations such as YWAM and WEC prior to joining YoYo.
In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket, football and tennis, and is a loyal West Ham United supporter. He also loves films, wrestling, his Xbox 360 and all types of music and is a member of the York City Gospel Choir.
