The year 2011 marks the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, and we are celebrating this in schools with a project called “Bible Focus”. Our Bible Focus lesson takes pupils on a journey through the story of the Bible, how the language of the Bible has developed over time, and offers answers to the all-important important question of "Why do people still read the Bible today?"

So far, we have visited Millthorpe, Archbishop Holgate's and Manor with Bible Focus and are looking forward to taking this project to more schools in the 2011-2012 academic year!
