Godly Play

Godly Play is a creative and imaginative approach to Christian teaching. We often incorporate it into our ‘It’s your’ programmes for KS1, and also offer a selection of lessons to schools throughout the year.
It is used to:
• Create sacred space. • Teach building and working in a community. • Learn religious language. • Use religious language to make meaning.
What does Godly Play do differently?
• Creates a space to develop thinking skills. • Develops language and communication skills. • Provides a multi-sensory approach to learning. • Promotes spiritual growth, with depth and reflection in every session. • Slows down the pace. • Provides the tools then stands back.
