From the 14^th June to 2^nd July the YoYo team visited 26 schools with our It’s Your Move programme.

This year our whole school assembly was set in a travel agents with two employees; Miss Change and Miss Same! The apostle Paul visited the shop in between trips and shared the changes in his life, what God was doing and the message that God is with us wherever we go.

We also delivered a Year 6 workshop looking more closely at the move to secondary school, sharing tips and advice and talking about some of the changes this will involve. This was also an opportunity to introduce the secondary team and tell them about the clubs and work that YoYo does in York’s secondary schools.

This year, for the first time, we also offered It’s Your Move to infant schools, offering the assembly and a lesson for year 2.

We had a fantastic time and would like to thank all the volunteers who were involved in both the school visits and baking cakes for the teachers (they were very much appreciated!)

Please continue to pray for the children who will be moving to new schools in September; that they would settle in well and would remember the message that God is with them wherever they go!
