It's Your Easter

It’s Your Easter is a spring term project which aims to share the key message of Christianity, Jesus’ death and resurrection. The programme consists of a whole school assembly which presents the message of Easter in a fun way through interactive drama and music for all school pupils.

It's Your EasterThis year we went into 31 schools, here are some of the comments we receieved:

“I thought it was the best YoYo assembly I’d seen!” Teacher from Acomb primary school

“Engaged the children and did not shy away from difficult issues, thank you.” Rufforth primary school

“It was epic!” William, aged 9

“YoYo are awesome – I wish they could come every week?” Alex, aged 10, Naburn primary school

“I really like YoYo coming in because there are some things I didn’t know and now I know.” Pupil, St Lawrence primary school.

"The whole Easter assembly was outstanding. Using the format of the Horrible Histories immediately engaged the children and the 'crowd' participation meant that the children were actively involved and learning all the time. A very difficult subject dealt with in a child friendly way." Teacher from Hempland Primary School

"Very lively and full of interactivity to keep all the chidlren engaged - but the Easter message and story came through very clearly. Lovely. The YoYo team are always so enthusiastic and creative; bringing all the Bible stories to life in a meaningful way. Thank you." Teacher from Archbishop of York Primary School
