We had a fantastic time visiting 24 schools over the last three weeks of term. We taught the Easter message through an assembly in which we focused on how the temple curtain was torn when Jesus died. We also provided a year 5 drama lesson, with a photo film of their work at the end and a year 2 lesson where they made their own story booklet, both looking into the story of Easter week.
The feedback was fantastic; with a teacher saying it “kept all ages entertained and made us think” and one school said “the concept of why Jesus came was put across very simply but very effectively”
Thanks go to volunteers - as well as all who made Easter cakes for the teachers – one of the highlights! |

Godly play has played an important role in our ‘It’s your…’ programmes over the past few years and due to the amount of positive feedback we have received regarding these lessons, we have decided to offer a selection of Godly Play lessons throughout the school year, which fit in with the Key Stage one curriculum.
