Dan started working for YoYo in 2004 whilst also working as a part-time Youth Worker for York Community Church. Prior to this he did a Masters degree in Music at the University of York.

Dan is the Team Leader at YoYo and has responsibility for managing and inspiring the team to continue driving forward the work of YoYo. He has had great experience in working in both primary and secondary schools as a part of his work with YoYo and as a Church Youth Worker in the past. He looks forward to supporting the team in their work with both children and young people this year and is excited about the opportunities ahead.

Alongside supporting the team, Dan also has responsibility for the training which YoYo offers including the Core Skills Children's Worker course, Children's Leaders Networking Evening and also the annual Vision Conference.

Dan is married to Susie, who is a primary school teacher in York, and they have a young son called Josiah. They all enjoy walking (well Josiah nearly does), playing music and eating out in York. Dan also captains the Jorvik Blades football team in York and loves sport in general!
